Virginia Women Arrested In Drug Raid At Ashland Hotel

{Kentucky}...Kentucky Sate Police arrested Bethany Rowe, 30, and Jeanetta Priestly, 31, both of Powhatan, Virginia early Tuesday morning during a raid at the Knights Inn on U.S. Route 60 in Ashland. Investigators went to the hotel after receiving information about illegal drug trafficking taking place in one of the rooms. During a search of the room, troopers found more 1500 Oxycodone pills, more than $7000 in cash, and assorted drug paraphernalia. During the search, troopers say Rowe arrived at the motel, and, in her car, they found drugs and a gun. Rowe was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription not in proper container, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Priestly was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
