(Ashland) Local, state and federal authorities arrested two people, including an Ashland businessman Friday on charges stemming from a four-year investigation involving stolen motorcycles, according to a press release from the Boyd County Sheriff's Department. Dick "Dicky" Meade was arrested about 8 a.m. Friday at Hertz Rentals, at 10th Street and Winchester Avenue in downtown Ashland. George Ferguson was arrested at his home n the 1900 block of Central Avenue in Ashland, according to the release. Both men were taken to the Laurel County Detention Center awaiting arraignment in federal court on Monday, according to the release.
