(Louisville) Attendance was up at this year's Kentucky State Fair. The 11 day stretch drew more than 605,000 in paid admissions, compared to last year's 602,000. The total for the 107th annual event was the second highest in five years, since the record crowd of 684,000 in 1994. This year's fair was blessed with mostly good weather and fair officials say the concerts drew in more people than last year. The 2012 Kentucky State Fair opens August 16th.
