The World’s Longest Yard Sale

{Kentucky}...The world’s longest yard sale, also known as the 127 Corridor Sale, kicked off Thursday and will run through Sunday along a 675-mile route through five states. The sale begins in Hudson, Michigan and runs south on US 27 through Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee before switching to the Lookout Mountain Parkway in Chattanooga and continuing to Gadsden, Alabama. The sale began in 1987 as a way to give travelers a reason to take the scenic route and invigorate local economies in counties and towns bypassed by the interstate highway system.
