IRS Agents Arrest London Doctor
{London, Kentucky}...Agents from the Internal Revenue Service arrested 63 year old Werner Grentz Tuesday afternoon. A federal grand jury has charged the London doctor earned between $169,000 and $365,000 each year from 2005 to 2010, but he did not file tax returns. Grentz worked at hospitals and medical offices in London, Manchester, Monticello and Jellico, Tennessee during the time covered by the charges. Grentz allegedly gave one of his employers an IRS form that falsely claimed he was exempt from having federal income taxes withheld from his check, and he had his pay deposited into bank accounts of companies to hide his income. If convicted, Grentz could face up to five years in prison.
