Kentucky Man Arrested At Omaha Airport

• {Kentucky}...Gabriel Copley, 20, of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, was arrested Saturday at the Eppley Airfield in Omaha Nebraska after Transportation Security Administration screeners found a suspicious item in his luggage. Copley faces a charge of possession of a destructive device. Screeners evacuated Eppley's south terminal about 9:30 Saturday morning, and the police bomb squad was called in. The team took the item, believed to be a homemade firework, outside and destroyed it. The terminal reopened about three hours later. Investigators believe Copley forgot the item was in his bag and didn't plan to harm anyone. The FBI joined police in investigating the incident. Sandy Breault, a spokeswoman for the FBI's Omaha office, said the incident was not linked to terrorism.
