Unemployment Rates Released

{Frankfort, Kentucky}…The Kentucky Office of Employment and Training reported Wednesday that jobless rates improved in 99 counties in November but worsened in 20 others. Woodford County had the lowest jobless rate in the state at 5.4 percent, while Magoffin County had the worst unemployment at 15.1 percent. Letcher County had a 13.3 percent unemployment rate. Harlan, Knott, Leslie and Letcher counties were all at 13 percent or above.
