Prosecutor...No Parole For Death Row Inmate Accomplice
{Covington, Kentucky}...Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders is urging the state parole board to keep 58 year old Brenda Humphrey, the accomplice of death row inmate 55 year old Gregory Wilson behind bars when her parole hearing comes up in June. Humphrey was sentenced in 1988 to life in prison with no parole for 25 years after being convicted of assisting Wilson in the 1987 kidnapping, robbing, raping and slaying of Deborah Pooley. Humphrey was spared a death sentence because she testified against Wilson. Sanders says Humphrey played an integral role in what's commonly considered the most brutal murder in the history of Kenton County.
